AJ Fike will be racing in the ARCA Racing Series Presented by Menards and the USAC Silver Crown series for the RFMS Racing team in the 2016 season. AJ is a veteran of the ACRA, USAC Silver Crown, USAC Midget, NAMARS, and Badger Midget series; with career starts in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and NASCAR Busch Series. Fike is a loyal RFMS Racing driver, starting his career with the organization in 1998. AJ quickly found success in USAC, joining the National Midget Tour in 1999 and winning National Rookie of the Year. Building on his momentum, AJ had a breakout year in 2001, winning the NAMARS Midget championship and finishing second in the USAC Midget Driver of the Year points. At only 22-years-old, AJ made his debut in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck series at Phoenix, while also competing in all three USAC national divisions. Since 2004, AJ has competed regularly as a successful driver in the USAC Silver Crown and ARCA series. Over his career, he has amassed 124 top tens, 66 top fives, and 14 wins. In 2012, Fike became the first Illinois driver in 29 years to win the “Tony Bettenhausen 100” USAC Silver Crown race at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. One year later, Fike made his home state proud as he backed up his “Tony Bettenhausen 100” win from 2012 by going back-to-back at the Springfield Mile. In 2015, Fike captured his first ARCA win at the Springfield Mile in the Allen Crowe 100, making him only the sixth driver in history to win in the stock cars and Silver Crown competition at Springfield, joining AJ Foyt, Al Unser, Roger Ward, Len Sutton, and Roger McCluskey. His first win was captured Live on TV on CBS Sports Network.
